麻穀寺(Magoksa Temple)
Magoksa Temple is located in Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do, is a representative temple of the Chungcheongnam-do Province. It is surrounded by Mt. Taehwasan. It takes around 30 minutes to go there from Gongju City.
相傳該寺由慈藏律師於西元640年創建，及後經由普照國師重修，再之後經歷梵日國師重建，和道詵國師、淳覺師父的重修與補修。其主要文化財包括五層石塔、靈山殿、大雄寶殿以及大光寶殿等。「麻穀寺」名稱由來相傳是在新羅時期普徹和尙傳法時，前來學習的眾僧就像麻田裡的麻一樣佈滿整個山谷。而寺廟雖經歷過壬辰倭亂與韓戰，但卻絲毫無損，亦在朝鮮後期被稱為戰爭避難所。此處四季景色尤以春天最美，櫻花、茱萸、紫木蓮等百花齊放。

地中海村(Blue Crystal Village)
Blue Crystal Village is also called Asan Mediterranean Village. It is located in Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. It is so called “Little Greece”, was designed by the model of Santorini and Parthenon in Greece, Provence in France.
村內充滿著希臘風情的白牆及藍色屋頂歐式建築，還有街道上很多具有不同特色的餐廳和服裝店，讓你走進一個別具一格的風情小鎮。

顯忠祠(Hyeonchungsa Shrine)
Also located in Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, it is the shrine of General Lee Sun-Shin. Built in 1706, it was given the name of Hyeonchungsa Shrine in the following year. Afterwards, it was rebuilt by the government, and further developed into a sacred place. 祠堂裡懸掛著李舜臣將軍的遺像和記錄他生平的十鏡圖，而距離顯忠祠西北邊9公里遠處便是忠武公墓。
