[原創]英文中常用到的拉丁文
英文中有些東西是從拉丁文來的


外國人常開玩笑說不管在講什麼，只要用到拉丁文整個句子聽起來就很深奧




下面這幾個是我目前可以想到的，歡迎補充囉




A.D. anno domin 西元後 in the year of the Lord


AM- ante meridiem - before midday - 早上


Carpe diem -Seize the day - 把握時光(及時行樂)


ergo - therefore- 因此


etc. - et cetera - and the rest- 等等...


ex parte - 單方面的，偏頗的


in vitro - 在試管內的(學醫的或生物的應該知道)


P.M. - post meridiem - after midday- 下午


pro bono - done without charge in public interest，公益事業(不收錢)


V.S - versus - against- 對立


vice versa - with the relations reversed- 反之亦然




我個人是覺得這種跟語言有關的知識很有趣，所以很當成消遣的活動，知道這些典故之後，也就不用死背單字了
