Introduction
第四種essay開場白的寫法是利用一般錯誤的觀念、做法，尤其某些似是而非的習慣或行為，你在大多數人身上觀察到。這是很容易下筆的寫法，因為，你可以用'because' 或 'however'等轉折字，點出錯誤所在，並帶出你的看法，請參考下面範例：

It is surprising to find many people talking on or fondling with their cell phones when they are driving. They may slow down on highways or change lanes without signaling on busy streets because they are distracted by the phone talk. Accidents happen as a result. For the sakes of public safety on the road, drivers’ cell phone uses should be banned.

總共四個句子，不需太複雜的句型，但讓你很快切進主題，這就是這種開頭架構最大的優點。其實，越難寫的essay，如分析、說服、比較等類型題目，反而Intro段容易寫，約三句左右，因為重點是在內文論述部份，但找到好的破題寫法是essay寫作成功的第一步。
