[問題] 現在完成式 has/have begun 用法

現在完成式 has/have begun 用法
1. The idea of producing color photos has begun since the invention of photography.
這句的has begun 有人認為不當。
2. My brother's restaurant has become very popular since it was opened last month.
這句的has become 卻沒有問題。

請問這兩句有何不同？第一句應如何修改？
