[問題] 形容詞子句改為形容詞片語
形容詞子句改為形容詞片語
以前曾去英文補習班上課
我寫的下面這個句子
Why don’t you find another kind of exercise suitable for you?
外國老師卻說 suitable前面要加which is 才行
可是 我之前看的一本英文文法書 ”understanding and using English grammar”
裡面有一單元提到形容詞子句改為形容詞片語
書中有舉幾個例子 其中一個跟我上面的句子蠻像的
Anne is the woman who is responsible for the error.
→ Anne is the woman responsible for the error.
我也曾在其中書中看過類似句子
The grass was not, however, a delicate decorative variety but a rugged turf suitable for a playground.
究竟是我的句子有錯還是外國老師搞錯了呢？
