動名詞意義上的主詞（邏輯主語）
動名詞意義上的主詞─放在動名詞前，表示動名詞的動作者。
I. 有生物名詞或代名詞當動名詞意義上的主詞時，用所有格形式。
I am sure of your son’s passing the entrance exam.
Tom’s being lazy resulted in his failure.
（註：非正式用法，動名詞片語當受詞時，意義上的主詞常用受格形式）
II. 無生物名詞、抽象名詞或詞組當動名詞意義上的主詞時，不用所有格。
All the students are glad of the examination being over.
Susan is always complaining about her family being poor.
I am surprised at John and Mary getting married so soon.
