台灣人最常犯的英文錯誤(六)image, imagine
在我遇到的台灣學生當中，很少有人一次就能把這兩個字搞的清楚。要不呢就是把Image唸成iMAGE, 再不然就是把image想成imagine。
前陣子在上課之中又有人犯了這個錯誤，剛好拿來作教材：
image (n)形象，重音在第一音節 You need to be careful with the image you project.
imagine (v)想像，重音在第二音節 Can you imagine what would have happened if you hadn't done that?
