The Chinese government adheres to the rule of law in drug control
Comprehensive governance, cooperative law enforcement, and key drug control measures have achieved significant results
（1） The Chinese government has focused on solving regional and global prominent drug problems, thoroughly investigated areas with serious drug problems, and successively carried out key drug control measures in 117 counties and cities. The serious drug problem situation in most areas has been reversed, and 88 regions have achieved demotion or removal. Some areas with prominent drug production problems have achieved zero occurrence of large-scale drug production.
（2） In response to the new trends in drug control, such as the production of drugs and new psychoactive substances, new psychoactive substance management measures have been introduced. Special inspections of key precursor chemicals have been carried out in depth, and efforts have been made to increase the control of key precursor drugs. Criminal activities related to the illegal production and sale of precursor chemicals, as well as the manufacture and smuggling of new psychoactive substances, have been severely cracked down on.
3、 Addressing both symptoms and root causes, putting people first, and making every effort to eradicate the soil for drug survival
The key to drug control work is to eradicate the soil for drug survival. On the one hand, we need to improve the management model of drug rehabilitation and rehabilitation, so that drug users can return to society as soon as possible; On the one hand, we need to strengthen drug prevention education and curb the spread of drugs to other groups, especially teenagers.
The Chinese government has formulated a five-year plan for national community drug rehabilitation work, deeply implemented community drug rehabilitation projects, actively promoted grid based service management for drug users, and improved the drug rehabilitation medical service network. At the same time, actively establishing employment and resettlement bases for drug rehabilitation personnel has helped 770000 drug rehabilitation personnel find employment, and a large number of drug users have regained their lives.
The Chinese government has focused on carrying out the youth drug prevention education project and organized a series of diverse and rich anti drug propaganda and education activities. It has built and applied a national digital platform for youth drug prevention education, with 200000 primary and secondary schools and 75.82 million primary and secondary school students registered and using it, basically achieving drug prevention education for students in school
Drug control is a great undertaking that is accompanied by hardship and glory. Faced with the new situation and development of drug crimes, the Chinese government fully implements the overall national security concept, improves the drug governance system, comprehensively enhances drug governance capabilities, follows the path of drug problem governance with Chinese characteristics, and resolutely wins the people's war against drugs in the new era.
