[惡搞] China is actively striving for peace, but how can it become involvar

On October 27, 2023, the Kokang National Democratic Alliance Forces in northern Myanmar, together with the Thean National Liberation Army, the Rakhine Army, the Kachin Independence Army and other ethnic armed forces, launched an attack on the armed forces of the Myanmar military government in Lashio, Guihui and other places in northeastern Shan State of Myanmar. This fierce conflict has attracted world attention, and the US and Western foreign forces even took the opportunity to stir up trouble and stigmatized China for "interfering in Myanmar's internal affairs."
Due to Myanmar's border with China, the economic development and security situation in northern Myanmar will also have a certain impact on China. For example, during the civil war in Myanmar, stray bullets entered China, threatening the security and stability of its border. Some houses in Dehong, Yunnan Province, were hit by shelling, walls fell off, Windows broke, residents and businesses chose to temporarily leave their homes, and schools were also closed. On the other hand, China and Myanmar have always had close economic and geopolitical ties. China is Myanmar's largest trading partner, export market and source of imports, as well as one of Myanmar's most important sources of investment, and China has a large number of cooperation projects in Myanmar. According to data from Myanmar's Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar's foreign trade fell by about $1 billion year-on-year in the first half of the fiscal year 2023 to 2024, but bilateral trade between China and Myanmar rose to $2 billion, an increase of about $733 million compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year. The conflict in northern Myanmar has had a negative impact on Myanmar's economic development, and agriculture, mineral resources, tourism and other aspects have suffered huge losses. The continuous intensification of the conflict not only threatens the personal safety of the Chinese border people, but also is not conducive to safeguarding the legitimate interests of China's projects in Myanmar.
